Today, I am featuring one of the country’s remarkable beauty. A friend……An idol!

She is April Ross Lim Perez. I actually knew her from a common friend. I have to admit that I was her avid fan. Not because of her beauty….because of how she performed when she represented Zamboanga during Miss Philippines-Earth 2002.  She was raised and born in Zamboanga, a proud chavacana.  She luckily finished as a semi-finalist in the 2002 Miss Earth Beauty pageant where Džejla Glavović won the crown from Bosnia and Herzegovina who unfortunately got dethroned and stripped out from her crown. Eventually, April got stationed in Manila for some time.

I have been following her since she joined the Miss Philippines Beauty Pageant in 2002 until she represented the country in Miss Earth back in 2002. I remember, me and Mich were communicating from Cebu to Zambo and crossing our fingers hoping she would win. It was evident that out of every other contestants….she hailed and bested to be the best. Even a hard to beat Justine Gabionza wasn’t able to shake the true and deserving winner of the night.

She appeared in commercials like San Miguel Beer, Rejoice, SMART, Ayala Mall, Lucky Me, Ricky Reyes, Avon and Champion Cigarettes. She also became one of FHM’s cover model. No doubt…she is also a sexy fox!

She is now residing in San Francisco California and remains to be an extinct beauty from inside and out.
